Billy Ray Williams , a devoted son, partner and father, passed away on January 18, 2024, leaving a void that will be deeply felt by those who knew and loved him.
From his early years, Billy’s heart belonged to his dogs, reflecting his lifelong passion for animals. Whether it was playing, caring, or simply being present, Billy’s connection with dogs was a constant source of joy in his life.
Billy’s intellectual curiosity and love for learning were evident from a young age. Graduating from Corliss High School, he excelled in his studies and even had the privilege of competing in The National Academic Bowl. On the football field, as a proud member of the Corliss Football team, he showcased both his intelligence and athleticism.
His generosity of spirit shone through as he willingly shared his knowledge with others, always ready to explain and guide.
Billy is survived by his loving parents, John and Sonya Williams, his devoted partner Michelle Nourse, and his three cherished daughters: Lolita, Khloe, and Cherish. He also leaves behind a large and close-knit family, including four sisters -Sonya (Finas) Jackson, Monica Williams, Alexis Williams and Dionne Williams-along with a brother, John Williams Jr. Additionally, he is remembered by two nieces and six nephews.
Billy will forever hold a special place in Jehovah’s memory, as well as in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all friends and family for their love and support during this time.
